Dear Hiring Representative,

I am currently employed by InnoSource at Goodyear Headquarters, which is my most recently listed employment. I am seeking a new place of employment because I wish to fulfill my personal goals and grow in my career.

            As a candidate overall I am very determined and have an outstanding work ethic. I believe that the number one skill I have, as well as my biggest strength, is the ability to not only function well under pressure and stressful situations—but thrive under them. I have worked in retail for most of my working career, therefore I have refined interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service. Working with children at my previous job has helped me achieve a higher sense of patience, creativity, and interpersonal communication skills. When you teach with patience, you show respect, empathy, security, and good self-esteem. When you take the time to stop and listen to what a person is saying, you are telling them that they are important to you and what they are saying to you is important. Teaching children has also given me the unique ability to teach and/or communicate in a way that will explain complex topics in an easy-to-understand language. My final skill and strength that I think makes me uniquely qualified is being a fast learner. I completed my two-year associate degree in one year. I graduated with an Associate of Applied Business in Information Technology in December 2020. I pick up on things extremely quickly and am a hands-on learner.

            I believe that I differ from other candidates because I have an intense drive to be the best version of myself at every possible moment of my life. It’s not enough that I be the best version of myself, I want everyone around me to also become the best version of themselves. I have the motivation and willpower to continue furthering my education, and to stay on top of current technological or developmental advancements that will help to further my career. I want to work for a company I can grow with. I do not want a job; I want a career. I want to work in an environment where my job allows me to be a better influence on the lives of others around me.

            I am at my very core, a competitive person. My driving motivator to perform at my best is my aim to be the best. I set very high goals and standards for myself and will push through adversity to see them to the finish. Why do I push myself? I have a little sister and a niece that look up to me, and I want to be the absolute best role model for them.
